This is so amazing to me to finally see Emmylou and Gene together. Emmylou sang backing vocals on Gene’s song Sister Moon. In Gene’s biography it doesn’t mention them being friends but does say she was there at a party where Gene got horribly and nastily drunk and I often wonder if that’s why she never covered any of his songs.
